Definitely looks the part, but is subject to the same stress points as the original. I recommend fitting the metal reinforcements that are available on eBay for $10.
It was shipped in a very substantial double box, so don’t worry about international shipping.
Excellent quality
Just like new, maybe better. It’s beautiful. Arrived quickly and very well packed. Highly recommended if your cover has broken hinge, is scratched up or cracked.
The dust over was sent really fast with great packaging around it so it wouldn’t be damaged in the transport. It has the exact measurements for my TD-160. The tone of the plastic seems a bit colder than the original but maybe it is the original lid that have bleached over time. Super happy with getting this dustcover, well worth the money seeing it every day makes me happy.
Completed a repair / refurbishment of a Thorens TD-160 recently. It was looking beautiful, but the old cover was just too tired to use. After researching possibilities, I decided to order a new smoke cover from IntoVinyl. I was crossing my fingers that it would survive international shipping to Oklahoma. I tracked its progress, waiting for the delivery. I was so pleasantly surprised when it arrived in perfect condition. It was double boxed with foam cushion. Unboxing, and placing it on my restored turntable made it look absolutely brand new again. It fits perfectly, and stays open when changing records. All I can say is PERFECTION !! Thank you.
